Zeel K. Desai,

Chief Executive Officer


Zeel graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County where she obtained  a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and Policy, with a focus on Public Health. Zeel K. Desai is the majority shareholder of Elite Retail Group, Inc. Zeel has been operating in the restaurant industry and managing over fifty staff for over six years. Prior, to the restaurant industry Zeel was involved heavily in Public Health working at Johns Hopkins University. She has completed a research project published in the American Heart Association. Zeel is also Serv-Safe certified, and Food-Handlers certified. She also has experience in managing franchised locations and maintaining above satisfactory franchised stores. Zeel has been featured in QSR magazine for the food court concept she created alongside Ritesh Patel, COO for the HCA facility, CJW Medical Center. This concept outlines her ability to cater to captive audiences and adapt to current trends of foodservice. Zeel has been actively operating in the foodservice industry for over 8 years.  The organzation has excelled through her leadership into competitive markets.  Her methodology has always been building strong relationships for all accounts and maintaining these relationships to succeed.  Zeel has delivered 100% satisfactory services to previous and current contracts and services through out the state of Virginia. She handles all current and pending contract relations and is heavily involved in day to day operations alongside her staff.


Ritesh Patel Chief Operation Officer

Ritesh attended Virginia Tech, where he studied in Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise  and Business Administration for Entrepreneurs. Ritesh is currently Serv-safe certified, and food handlers certified. Ritesh is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at eLITE he has grown the firm through the competitive market by providing a focus on health and wellness menu trends. Ritesh has also installed and implemented technology focused approaches into daily operations making the company excel in foodservice and provide efficiency in daily operations. Ritesh has been operating and consulting restaurants for over ten years, and surpassed twenty years of foodservice experience all together. Ritesh has a strong passion for food and nutrition. His areas of focus has been on developing menu’s that accommodate to different diets, and food trends. Ritesh is also an active nutritionalist, consulting healthy and fresh menu trends.

Andy Lo

Executive Chef and Catering Director


Andy has over thirty years of experience in foodservice. He began his career in Hong Kong, China as an executive sous chef under the Hong Kong Peninsula Management. Since then Andy has achieved numerous honors and awards; the most recent being the 6th annual international ice sculpting competition where he obtained the silver medal. Andy obtained his culinary arts diploma in 1971, along with the principles of supervision certification in 1983. Locally Andy has serviced the downtown club, Omni Richmond Hotel, and the Jefferson Hotel. Andy brings an immense amount of culinary experience and unique visions to eLITE management.

James K. Budd
Director of Event Production


James “Jimmy” Budd, is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and results-driven key assets to the Elite group. He holds B.A in Political Science, Business Management from University of Richmond. His proven success through leadership and team-building roles has exponentially increased sales and client account satisfaction for Elite. Jimmy’s role includes daily operations and management of staff members and supervisors, securing and facilitating events and promotions, and market analysis. Jimmy has been a key asset to the Elite group from his passion in the service industry. He proposes innovative ideas and efficient systems to increase profitability and reduce cost Jimmy leads individuals through effective coaching and continue to maneuver through changing trends in the food and beverage industry. His creative and skills in designing mixology cocktails, and beverages has been the spotlight of his knowledge in the bar industry. Jimmy’s hobby includes coaching with the local Richmond Kicker’s Youth Soccer Program.
